The most ideal age for developing speed, strength and power over an athlete’s entire lifetime is when they are between the ages of 13 – 18. Our High School Classes will provide the maximum foundational improvement to support athletic performance utilizing our 40 years of experience, plus current schools of thought and scientific research on safe athlete training techniques and injury prevention.
The athlete will be coached on speed and strength training to maximize their athletic performance on the field. This program takes an athlete’s physical foundation and refines their abilities and movement to to maximize off field and on field abilities, as well as teach them how to properly warm up, and recover to help prevent injuries.
At this level, we focus on one foundational aspect of athleticism per session. Focuses are:
- Linear Speed: Acceleration and top-speed running techniques giving our athletes the ability to attain and maintain their maximum speed
- Change of Direction: Agility and Center of Gravity Management giving our athletes the ability to decelerate and move in any direction quickly.
- Upper and Lower Body Strength: Progressive power and strength training exercises for muscle development and injury prevention.
